Security Supervisor

 

Position: Security Supervisor (Full time, Part time #537265)
Property / Office: Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide supervisory guidance and support to all colleagues in the Security Department and ensure that they perform their duties effectively.
• Create a safe and secure environment for all guests and colleagues.
• Assisting the manager to develop the Standard Operating Procedures for the department.
• Implement the Standard Operating Procedures for the department and any relevant area in the hotel.
• Assisting the manager to develop and deliver training programs for all employees on FLHSS (Fire, Life, Health, Safety, Security) and any related rules and regulations.
• Review and follow-up on all incident, loss and accident reports.
• Implement hotel’s key control program.
• Responsible for the fire life safety policies and procedures as legislated by Jakarta Fire Brigade rules and regulations.
• Develop and train all colleagues in emergency procedure preparedness.
• Protection of hotel assets.
• Maintain a good working relationship with other departments.
• Maintain liaison with local law enforcement agencies.
• Set example for all colleagues to emulate by complying with all hotel policies and procedures.
• To monitor and conduct surveillance on any malpractices in the hotel.
• To work very closely with outsourced Security Company to ensure outsource colleagues follow all Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group policies and procedure
• Assist Security Manager and or Director of Security to manage budget/cost effectively.
• Maintain a high ethical standard the Security staff would emulate.
• Create a climate providing motivation, participation and opportunities for colleague initiative.
• Utilize positive reinforcement techniques in handling disciplinary issues within department.
